Horton & Senate appointed as preferred agent for Homes Under the Hammer
Horton & Senate have been recently appointed as a preferred agent by the factual renovation and auction television series Homes Under the Hammer.
The series is the BBC’s most successful show in the 10am slot, regularly attaining a 30% market share for new episodes, which equates to approximately 1.5 million viewers per episode.
Justyn Horton, Sales Director at Horton & Senate said “becoming a preferred agent for such a popular programme is a great accolade. I have worked with the team at Homes Under the Hammer in the past and I really enjoyed the experience.” Mr Horton added “We are committed to providing an honest and professional property service. The increased exposure highlights our pragmatic approach to estate agency.”
Each episode follows several properties brought at auction that often require refurbishment. A presenter and a local estate agent give their opinion of the property, followed by the actual auction and sale price. The buyers discuss potential improvements to the purchased property, with an estimated budget. Following this format for each property, the show returns to showcase the refurbishments. The estate agent gives an updated value of the property following the work.
Horton & Senate will be showing behind the scenes footage when filming. Stay tuned….
